Latest Hotel Job!
Thank you to Levi Weppler and John Kelchak for just completing totally stripping and reglazing 80 fiberglass 1 piece tub and enclosures at the Super 8 motel in Barstow, California.
The job began on Nov. 30th with Levi picking (Little) John Kelchak up at the Columbus, Ohio airport and then driving the next day and a half
non stop to Barstow.
This was Levi's second trip accross the country to Barstow this year.
The job went "According to Hoyle".....30 units; all having been done "SEVERAL" times before which doubles the preparation time and they even got to do some fiberglass work on a couple.
About halfway thru the project the weather in southern california got a little crazy. Levi and John woke up to 5 inches of white "GLOBAL WARMING".
Sharon; the manager said it was the first time on 4-5 years that they had seen snow. Thankfully the weather gave them a break for the loooong drive home.
They made sure to call and let me know how nice the weather was because they knew I was watching inches per hour of that "global warming" stuff fall outside my windows at the same time.
We are all thankfull once again that they made it home safe and sound for the holiday's and represented the company in their usual way with a professional work ethic and noteworthy "GIT ER DONE" attitude.

"Charlie," the one pictured to the right, is a real low-life. He started in Indianapolis Indiana, and moved to Canada - for a reason. Get this, [in 1989] he [Charlie] volunteered to pick up 101 red roses for a man's wife who just got out of heart surgery. The sick woman's husband was ill himself, so he gave Charlie well over $300.00 to buy the roses, and deliver them to his wife in the hospital. Charlie stopped at a roadside vendor, and purchased 12 roses for $10.00, delivered the $10.00 worth of roses - and pocketed the balance of the husbands money.
